He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty have one 12-month fixed term position for a new graduate Oral Health Therapist to join our Western Bay team based in Tauranga.
This position will commence January 2023 and will be a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. The position is available for a 2022 graduate who will be applying for Dental Council New Zealand registration on graduation only.
The successful applicant will be a part of a service delivery team that work with a patient group from ages 0 to 13 years old. You will work as a member of a team of Dental, Oral Health Therapists, Dental Assistants, Patient Liaison and Oral Health Promotion staff to deliver care to our patient group.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have pending 2022 registration and APC on graduation with Dental Council New Zealand
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to culturally safe practices
- Participate and comply with health and safety in the workplace
- Hold a minimum of a restricted drivers license
