We are keen to hear from Surgical Registrars who are looking for new opportunities commencing 1 August 2022.  There are 12 x SMOs and 15 x Registrars in the Department of Surgery at Tauranga Hospital.

All Registrar positions are accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as training positions.  

The run period is 6- 12 months and the run is based at Tauranga Hospital, with a 13 week rotation to Whakatane Hospital.

Previous experience as a House Officer on a surgical team is essential for this position, and experience at Registrar level in either Surgery or Orthopaedics is desirable.
