- Permanent Full-time role
- 1 FTE (40 hrs per week)
- Based in Takapuna

Our Community Adult Mental Health Team on the North Shore is seeking Social Workers to work with clients and their families in a community setting, using a recovery based approach.
We are a supportive multi-disciplinary team, committed to the development of our staff. If you are dedicated to improving the health of our clients and are passionate about making a difference we look forwarding to hear from you.
The following are essential attributes:
- Sound Social Work knowledge base
- Knowledge of Mental Health issues
- Understanding of the nature of organisations and knowledge of social service policies and systems
- Commitment to empowerment of clients and families/whanau
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Good community/networking skills
- Professional focus and ability to relate well to social work colleagues
- Current drivers’ licence
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good time management
- Ability to develop good working relationships
- Commitment to maintaining high professional standard
