Seeking skilled and experienced Psychotherapists, for the Marinoto West, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Waitemata.

Many young people in New Zealand experience mental health difficulties at some point over the course of their childhood and teenage years. At Te Whatu Ora, Waitemata, the Marinoto West Child & Adolescent team offers mental health support to young people and their families across both rural and urban areas within West Auckland.

We are currently looking for Psychotherapists with Child and Adolescent Mental Health experience. We are offering two fulltime positions for enthusiastic Psychotherapists that want to make a difference for our young people within West Auckland. You would be part of providing a Psychotherapist voice within our multidisciplinary team.

Based at one of our West Auckland sites, you would be required to work Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5pm.

Requirements for the role:

Professional Registration in New Zealand.

A desire to work with children, youth and their families who have complex mental health issues.

Preferred:

Experience in using various media and tools to engage and sustain treatment with children, young people and their families.

A Post Graduate qualification in Child and Youth mental health and/or recognised training in an evidence based intervention for Child and Youth mental health presentations.
