Alcohol and Drug Clinician - 0.6 FTE - CADS Dual Diagnosis

CADS provides a range of Alcohol and Drug services for the greater Auckland region with a population of over 1.5 million people and is operated by Waitemata District Health Board.
Auckland Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) is one of the largest providers of outpatient Alcohol & Other Drug Services in New Zealand
The CADS Dual Diagnosis Team responds to the increasing need to provide a specialist service for Mental Health Services clients who have a co-existing substance abuse or dependency problem.
You will be part of a specialist team providing assessment and clinical case support to clients of mental health services in the Auckland Region who have a co-existing substance abuse or dependency problem. We also deliver training and coaching around Dual Diagnosis issues.
This is a fantastic opportunity to expand on your experience as a mental health professional such as a Registered Nurse or other Allied Health profession. The key personality traits for this role are energetic, enthusiasm, empathy and self-reliance. It is an opportunity to practise in a multi-disciplinary environment where every day is different. This is a great role working with some of Aucklands most diverse communities.
Experience and/or training in the alcohol and drug field is preferred, as well as relevant tertiary qualifications, assessment, treatment and referral skills. A full New Zealand Driving Licence is required.
