Clinical Psychologist - DBT Coordinator, Adult Mental Health Services - West

- 0.8 FTE Part-time role (8 days per fortnight)
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult services as a DBT coordinator. Providing support and coordination for the three DBT consults across our adult services, and championing DBT more widely. The role includes a clinical component as well as coordination, liaison functions, and training.

This autonomous position works closely with the other Clinical Psychologists across Waitemata Adult Mental Health services, and provides essential psychology consultation to teams, DBT coordination, assessment, therapy, and groups.
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist with:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Proven psychological, psychometric and neuro-psychological assessment skills
- Experience working within a DBT framework essential
- Sound skills in mental health assessment, treatment and safety planning
- The ability to work autonomously.
The Clinical Psychologist role is supported by a Principal Psychologist for Adult and a Professional Lead within Mental Health Services.
