Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM), Safe Staffing Coordinator (Full-Time), Te Whatu Ora

The Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) Programme is a joint initiative between the Safe Staffing Healthy Workplace (SSHW) Unit, the health unions, and the DHB’s.  CCDM is a whole of (hospital) system approach that focuses on the provision of tools, processes and organisational support systems to match workforce availability and skill mix to demand and manage any variance that occurs each day.

 

We have a vacancy for a registered nurse to join the Safe Staffing CCDM team to facilitate the implementation of the programme at CMDHB. The role includes coordination leadership and project management; developing expert knowledge of the tools and processes within the CCDM programme so as to facilitate and support the implementation of these into CMDHB.

 

As you will be required to connect and engage with multiple stakeholders, exceptional relationship building, communication and conflict resolution skills are essential. You will have previous success leading projects and change. In addition you will be analytical with the ability to support data collection and literacy. This is a high profile programme of work. You will be comfortable presenting and showcasing the work you are leading at local and national levels.

              

Essential requirements:

 

  • Registered with NZ Nursing Council
  • Have a current and up to date APC
  • A minimum of 3 years recent post registration experience
  • Experience in clinical leadership
