Join the Auckland City Hospital's Adult Emergency Department (AED) as a Medical Officer and play a crucial role in delivering world-class healthcare to a diverse population. AED, a major trauma centre, serves approximately 80,000 adult patients each year, known for its expertise in resuscitation, trauma care, and emergency services.
As a Medical Officer you'll work in partnership with our great team of diverse health professionals to ensure high-quality medical care across all aspects of the Emergency Department. Your focus will be primarily onservice delivery, with a particular emphasis on managing patients with minor illnesses and injuries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for urgent care medical professionals to transition their skills to a dynamic hospital environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experienced healthcare providers.

Qualifications:
- Medical practitioner fully registered with the New Zealand Medical Council
- Training in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
- Commitment to biculturalism and Maori health
- Minimum 4 years’ experience Registrar level
