Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team located at Auckland City Hospital as a Retail Pharmacist. You will be part of a small, hardworking and friendly team providing an efficient and effective retail pharmacy service for Te Toka Tumai.
The successful applicant should have the ability to be flexible and work well in a team. You should show drive, enthusiasm and initiative. Excellent communication, organisational skills and a passion for learning is essential.
Previous retail pharmacy experience and familiarity with the Toniq software is essential. Applicants must hold a current APC with the Pharmacy Council of NZ or be eligible to obtain one.

As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:-
- A current APC with the Pharmacy Council of NZ or be eligible to obtain one
- Community pharmacy experience is preferable but not essential as training will be provided
- Drive, enthusiasm and initiative with excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills are essential
- Pro-active and can-do approach with the ability to learn quickly, be flexible and work autonomously as well as in a team
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
