Clinical Team Member (MH Nurse, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists)- Hāpai Ora

Nau mai, Haere mai. Do you enjoy working with youth and their Whānau/families? We invite you to join Hāpai Ora, an exciting and dynamic Rangatahi (Youth) Mental Health Community service.
Come and join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Early Psychosis Service (EIS) where we engage Rangatahi/young adults (<30yrs) and their Whānau along their recovery journey. EIS is a specialist service providing assessment and treatment for Rangatahi presenting with a first episode psychosis.
As a member of this professional, dedicated EI Service, you’ll work alongside your colleagues who have a strong emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, collaboration and on-going professional development. You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach. You will demonstrate an interest in, or past experience working alongside tāngata whai i te ora /client’s with psychosis and or working with Rangatahi would be an advantage. We also have a significant number of Tāne/male service users so we welcome applicants who have demonstrated ability to work effectively with this group.
We offer internal and external training packages, including formal post-graduate training, for new staff skill development as well as support for experienced clinicians who wish to build on their existing skills.
We welcome applications from experienced registered Mental Health Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Nurses. Experience within EIS, AMHS (Adult MH services) or CAMHS (Child and Adolescent MH services) is highly desirable.
We have a permanent/full time position available, working Monday to Friday based at our community location in the suburb of Epsom. As this is a community role, a full and clean driver’s license is required.
