Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Tupu Ora is the Regional Eating Disorders Service. It is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland region as well as specialist support to Northland and the Midland region. Evidence based therapy models are an integral part of our treatment. If you are interested in growing these clinical skills this may be the job for you. Consideration to the successful applicant’s skills, experience and interest will be given when considering team placement.
This is a community based role, working Monday to Friday.

We welcome applications from experienced registered Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Psychotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Our successful applicant will bring flexibility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to the team. You will have a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach having previously worked within the CAMHS sector with adolescents and their families or within Adult Mental Health Services.
Tupu Ora has a commitment to providing evidenced based treatment, so familiarity with eating disorders treatment models would be an advantage, full orientation and support will be given. As this role is community based, it is essential to have a clean and full NZ driver licence.
