Community Speech Language Therapist (Auckland Community)

ABI Community Services is seeking a Speech-Language Therapist with a minimum of 2 years' working experience. Previous experience in neurological rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
This is a community-based role that entails providing therapy to adults and some children who have suffered an injury and/or traumatic brain injury. The role will be a mix of clinic and home visit appointment traveling within the Auckland.
You would be working in a supportive team environment alongside speech language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, social workers, registered nurses and rehabilitation coaches. You would be able to work closely with the team, as well as take initiative to work autonomously. The successful applicant will:
- have a Bachelor of Speech Language Therapy (or equivalent),
- have a minimum of 2 years' work experience,
- be registered with New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association (NZSTA) with a current practicing certificate, and
- have a full, clean driver's license
A strong interest or experience in cognitive communication is essential; further training can be provided to the right candidate.
