Salary: Step 1 : 46,182 to Step 5 : 53,803

Working for the Te Whatu Ora Residential Care Bureau offers the opportunity to work across a range of facilities and utilise and extend your healthcare experience.
You - ll be supported by a great orientation package, ongoing education and a Nurse Educator designated to the Residential Care Bureau staff. We are committed to supporting your development by enabling you to deepen and broaden your skills in the Residential Care sector so that you can work across a range of care facilities. If you wish to translate your skills into acute based care settings we can support you to make the transition.

Shifts will be worked at participating Residential Care facilities in Te Whatu Ora - Capital , Coast and Hutt Valley
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The HCA will work collaboratively with Te Whatu Ora - Capital ,Coast and Hutt Valley and Residential Care facilities staff and management for the delivery of high quality clinical care. The Residential Care Bureau provides a Nurse Educator for clinical and professional education and Administration staff who assist with rostering and allocation to Care facilities. Residential Care Bureau staff report to the Nurse Manager, IOC.
The Residential Care Bureau is co-located with the Te Whatu Ora - Bureau for acute (hospital) services. Staff may also work across Te Whatu Ora - Capital , Coast and Hutt Valley hospitals as required due to patient and workforce necessity.
Moū - About you
- NZQA Level 3 Health and Wellbeing or equivalent or willingness to complete
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Hold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand
- A commitment to high quality ARC and enhancing the lives of residents with empathy, humour and respect.
- Driving Licence preferred - expectation to work across facilities in the District
