About the Role
The Advisor Investment Planning is a junior role that works alongside senior advsiors in providing support in maintaining and implementing the Health Infrastructure Plan for Health New Zealand. The role involves supporting and coordinating the prioritisation of infrastructure investments, assisting with annual reviews of the plan, and developing options for funding and delivering individual projects. It also includes undertaking early-stage investment planning, ensuring that proposals align with strategic objectives and contribute to the effective delivery of health services across New Zealand.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The mission of the Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) is to provide the safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment that are essential for a well-functioning health system. The IIG leads investment by understanding and managing these well, ensuring health facilities, sites, and equipment with the highest need of investment are prioritised and standardising the way these are maintained, refurbished or redeveloped.
About you
You will be early into your career, with a keen interest in investment planning and being part of improving health services for New Zealand. You'll bring a willingness to learn, a proactive approach to supporting the team where needed, and an eagerness to develop your skills within a supportive environment. Additionally, the following skills and experience will contribute to your success in this role:
- Tertiary level qualification in a relevant area and/or appropriate experience
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to deal with complexity
