The successful applicant will be based in Hamilton and will join a professional, multidisciplinary team within a developing Clinical Governance framework. As part of a national team of Transfusion Nurse Specialists, you will influence transfusion practices across the country. You will work closely with our team of Transfusion Medicine Specialists to ensure the delivery of high-quality transfusion support to patients. In this senior nursing position, you will lead clinical changes in transfusion practices to enhance patient safety by working in partnership with NZBS, Te Whatu Ora teams, and private health providers to promote, utilise, improve, and support haemovigilance systems.
