Call Centre Administration Clerk

- Whangarei Hospital, Northland
- Permanent part-time position (0.8 FTE) working 64 hours per fortnight

About the Role
As a Call Centre Administration Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Administration Services Department. This is a multi-tasked role in a fast-paced environment, requiring exceptional time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
This role primarily involves working Thursday through Sunday, main duties are answering and transferring calls on the hospital switchboard for Te Whatu Ora, as well as providing support in our Emergency Department.

About you
We are seeking an individual who can consistently deliver high-quality work under pressure, while being able to work independently and quickly adapt to new processes and systems. Whilst not essential, prior health or hospital related experience is desirable.
- Current NZ Drivers Licence
- Completion of NCEA L3
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office programs
- Have the basic clerical skills to adequately carry out the tasks outlined in the Job Description
- Problem solving ability for complex calls / customers
- Computer literate and basic typing skills
