Consultant Breast Radiologist

About the Role
You will be part of a passionate and innovative multi-disciplinary breast service team in a purpose-built clinic supported by surgeon's, specialist breast care nurses, medical imaging technologists' sonographers, community and administrative teams.
The role could include both symptomatic and screening breast work and can include General radiology (another subspecialty may also be considered).
The purpose-built breast centre is well equipped with two Digital Mammography units including tomosynthesis and tomosynthesis biopsy and ultrasound. Services include multi-modality reporting & intervention including Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis, Vacuum Assisted Biopsy, Ultrasound & Stereotactic biopsy Hook wire localisation & clip placement, triple assessment and weekly MDT meetings

About you
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in a Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology Vocational scope of practice.
A strong sub-speciality interest or a sub-speciality fellowship would be an advantage.
If you are currently overseas / not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ registration.
