Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult, Mid and Far North

About the Role
Here is the opportunity to live and practice in a more rural area of Northland, ideally suiting someone with strong interest in rural psychiatry and interested in a country farm or beach lifestyle. This position also involves both conducting community clinics, and clinical input into our Sub-Acute Unit.
We provide on-going professional support including continued medical education, professional development and peer review. You will have active participation in a growing service that has the opportunity to be at the forefront of both primary and secondary care innovations.

About you
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in a Psychiatry Vocational scope of practice.
FRANZCP and/ or post graduate qualifications are desirable, however happy to hear from those near completion of their studies etc.
If you are currently overseas / not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ registration.
