Community Support Worker

About the Role
Working in the residential Sub-Acute Unit, this role provides care, support and the best health outcomes to people under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse and Community Support Worker (CSW) Co-ordinator. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week on rotating shifts covering 7 days per week.

About you
We are looking for people with a proven ability to engage with people; who can work as a team member and can work under supervision. You must be able to recognise the diversity of people's culture and provide support that is culturally safe and appropriate.
- Mental Health Level 4 Certificate or a desire to work towards it
- Experience working in a mental health setting
- Whilst not essential, it is highly desirable if you are working towards a Diploma in Mental Health Suport Work
- Current, full New Zealand driver's licence
