About the Role

Be part of a dynamic team who make a very real difference in the lives of patients and their Whanau across the Whanganui rohe.

We are currently seeking an experienced, suitably qualified, client-focused, business manager. Our business managers lead the hospital's business operations. These are crucial leadership positions as they determine the economic allocation of resources across procurement, system design, business models, and more.

This role will look after various hospital portfolios in a challenging, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. The work you will do will benefit everyone in our rohe.

About the Team/Service/ Location

You will be located on the Whanganui Campus. Whanganui is a great little progressive city with a friendly chilled vibe. Great café culture, schools and sporting opportunities with some of the best all year-round weather in the country. The rugged west coast beaches on your doorstep allow for all year surfing, fishing or just walking for miles. About you

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and abilities:

• Previous experience overseeing business operations
• Evidence of working in a changing, high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently, self-manage, be proactive, and flexible
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders
• Comprehensive evidence of providing sound business advise to senior leadership
• Highly organised and structured
• Implementation-focused with proven problem-solving abilities
• Sound computer skills

The successful incumbent will have a minimum undergraduate qualification in business, or comparable work experience.
