About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic nurse to join our team in the Renal Service HNZ-Te Whatu Ora Lakes. You will have proven clinical abilities that will assist you in providing, specialized care, education, and support to patients and their family/whanau who require peritoneal dialysis in the Lakes region.
This will include working within the hospital setting and the community, ensuring co-ordination and integration of services to improve the quality of care delivery throughout their patient experience. You will also demonstrate excellent people management, communication and advocacy skills.
There is an expectation that you will have completed or completing appropriate Post Graduate study.

About you
As a Speciality Clinical Nurse it is expected that you would have recent renal experience especially in the delivery of peritoneal dialysis care, able to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team. .
- You will have a New Zealand Registered with Nursing Council of NZ, current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Evidence of relevant professional development in specialist clinical knowledge and skills. Recent PD renal experience
- There is an expectation that you will have completed or completing appropriate Post Graduate study.
- You will also demonstrate excellent people management, communication and advocacy skills.
