About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and organised Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Coordinator to join our Child Development Team, Whakatāne. This is a permanent part-time position working 24 hours per week.
As an ASD coordinator you will be working to coordinate the support and access to services of clients with autism and their families. You will be working as part of a small, multi-disciplinary and highly motivated team of allied health professionals, including, but not limited to occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and social workers.

The Child Development Team at Bay of Plenty Hauroa a Toi proudly deliver therapy services across the Bay of Plenty.

About you
Our preferred applicant will have:
- Had worked in the field of child development and behaviour
- A strong understanding of ASD and its impact on children and families
- Worked in the primary care environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise workload
