About the Role
Are you a dynamic and motivated senior nurse with a passion for leadership and team development? We're excited to invite applications for a permanent part-time Associate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM) position within our well-established team in the Emergency Department at Tauranga Hospital.
As a key member of our ACNM team, you will play an essential role in shaping the future of emergency nursing. This leadership position involves supporting, coaching, and inspiring our ED nursing team, while contributing to the daily operational management of the department.
You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to advance organisational goals, uphold high standards of care, and ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where your clinical expertise and leadership skills will make a real impact.
Please note: This role requires a strong commitment to working after hours, weekends, and public holidays as part of our leadership roster.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The Emergency Department at Tauranga Hospital is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality, patient-centered acute care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We serve a diverse population with a wide range of clinical presentations—from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
Our team is made up of skilled healthcare professionals who are passionate about emergency care and dedicated to delivering timely, compassionate treatment in a high-pressure setting. Working collaboratively across disciplines, we focus on rapid assessment, evidence-based practice, and seamless care coordination to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

About you
- A positive, can-do attitude with a team-focused approach.
- Extensive clinical experience in Emergency Care Nursing, must hold APC.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Skilled in staff support, coaching, and mentoring.
- Flexible, resilient, and proactive in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work rostered shifts, including after-hours and weekends.
