The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced, registered Mental Health Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic Fresh Minds team in Manukau, 0.5 FTE.
This role involves working with primary care providers to promote the Wellness Support model of care. It involves working with GP practices and a range of primary care health professionals to improve their knowledge of mental health and addiction issues and enhance their skills in identifying and addressing them effectively.
Qualifications Required:
- Registered mental health practitioner, with a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health, CBT or Primary Mental Health & Addiction credentialing.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of two years of postgraduate work experience and can demonstrate competency in mental health and addiction issues across the age spectrum.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of health systems and models of care
- Demonstrated experience in adult-centred training and learning.
