About the role
Join the NZBS National Office in Epsom, Auckland as a Medical Secretary! We're seeking a dedicated individual to support our experienced Clinical team. You'll be an integral part of our Clinical Services Support Team (CSST), working alongside two other Medical Secretaries and an Executive Assistant to provide essential support to the wider Clinical team.
We're looking for someone who is not only proficient in Microsoft Office products but also confident in using Microsoft Teams for online communication. As a trusted member of our clinical team, you'll produce high-quality clinical letters and documents. This role offers the chance to collaborate with various departments, including marketing and communications, finance, and human resources. Duties involved are:
- Administrative support
- Project support
- Coordination of project meetings
- Document and report preparation and management
- Oversight of printed materials and digital assets
- Support for Clinical Governance framework
- Process improvement and implementation
- Travel bookings and arrangements
Flexible working is available on this role – around 2 days per week working from home.
4 weeks and 2 days (4.4 weeks) annual leave per annum, moving to 5 weeks after 5 years' service.
Long service - 2 weeks leave after 10 years' service and a one weeks' leave following any subsequent period of 5 years' service.
About you
Are you an experienced medical secretary or administrator, preferably with a background in a clinical or healthcare environment? Do you have highly effective and organized administrative skills and enjoy supporting a team? If so, this role could be perfect for you.
To succeed in this position, you will need excellent interpersonal and MS Office skills, along with the ability to work autonomously, using your initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team.
