About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Pathologist to join NPHS. You will provide expert clinical support in response to the Clinical Case Review (the Review) of the Cervical Register and the national cervical screening programme within the National Public Health Service (NPHS).
The Pathologist will work closely and collaboratively with the NCSP team to ensure the continuous improvement and delivery of a high quality national cervical screening programme. The role is advertised for 0.5 FTE (preferred) however expressions of interest for a lesser time commitment will be considered.

About you
You will be an experienced Pathologist who is committed to helping all people achieve equitable health outcomes.
- A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification.
- Registered medical practitioner with appropriate vocational registration (FRCPA) or training towards vocational registration.
- Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Pathology subspecialty experience or interest in cervical pathology.
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
- A demonstrated commitment to quality, safety and clinical governance.
